>Parity and rotational invariances are basic assumptions in the standard cosmology, while there are possibilities violating them. Such symmetry breakings will imprint very rich signatures in late-time phenomena. Especially, the cosmic microwave background (CMB) anisotropies will change its face drastically, corresponding to the symmetry-breaking types, since the harmonic-space representation is very sensitive to the statistical, spin and angular dependences of cosmological perturbations. I would talk the recent searches for symmetry breakings in CMB.

>電子間のクーロン力が極めて強い固体物質群「強相関電子系」は，一電子の個性からは
想像もつかない不可思議な現象を創出する魅力的な研究対象です．本講演の前半では，
強相関電子系を巡る歴史的経緯を概観し，そのなかで私が深く関わってきた「隠れた秩序変数」の研究の進展についてお話しします．講演の後半では，隠れた秩序の発展問題であるスクッテルダイト化合物SmRu4P12の異常物性と最新の理論研究を紹介します．
