講演題名：「Buried interfaces in organic electronic devices: X-ray reflectivity studies 」
講演概要：
The properties of the interfaces are crucial for the performance of electronic devices, since the charge transport at metal / semi-conducting interfaces as well as along the semiconducting / dielectric interfaces are strongly determined by the interface properties. In organic electronic devices besides the interface roughnesses also the orientation of the molecules at the interface is crucial due to the large anisotropy of the charge transport. The talk will show how surface sensitive x-ray scattering techniques like x-ray reflectivity and grazing incidence x-ray scattering can be used to characterize buried interfaces in organic electronic devices. Examples on thin film transistors and organic photodiodes will be given. The properties of metal / organic interfaces and polymer / polymer interfaces will be described on specific examples and the influence to device performances will be discussed.

講演題名：磁気誘起強誘電体と有機物強誘電体 −新奇な強誘電体と構造物性−
講演概要：
誘電体は実用的な面も含めて長い研究がある。強誘電体の発見は1921年のロッシェル塩のDEヒステリスループの報告が最初（Phys. Rev. 17 (1921) 475）といえるが、それいらい100年近くがたっている。全ての学問で、ある分野に属する新物質の発見とその数は相転移の「核形成−ドメイン成長」と同じ曲線をたどって飽和してしまう。強誘電体の分野も同じ道をたどっていたが、「磁気誘起強誘電体」、「有機物強誘電体」などの新分野が起こったことにより、新たな局面、新たな時代を迎えている。本講演では、この新しい強誘電体の概要と実験的側面、特にＸ線や中性子による構造物性研究について解説する。
